Summary
Battery Monitor does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data stays on your own devices.
What data is used
The app exchanges the following information locally between your own devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE):
- Device name (as set by you in iOS/macOS Settings)
- Battery charge level (percentage)
- Charging state (charging / not charging)
This data is used solely to display battery levels across your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. It is never sent to the internet or to any third party.
No accounts, no tracking
- No account or sign-in is required
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs are included
- No advertising identifiers are used
- No data is shared with third parties
Bluetooth permission
On iOS and macOS the app requests Bluetooth access to discover and communicate with your other devices. This permission is used exclusively for local, on-device communication.
Children's privacy
Battery Monitor does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
